Day 1 - 21/11/09

The aerial descent into Doha airport was sensational; the skies had awarded us a glorious shade of blue with spectacular clarity; beneath waves were crashing into the golden landmass & oil wells could be seen flickering in the distance.

This morning we headed out to the Stoupa where we did three Kora's (customary rite of circumambulation) before making our way up to its 2nd layer - bizarrely in doing this I felt an immense rush of internal excitement.

Day 3 - 23/11/09

Up this morning for a quick breakfast on the rooftop veranda & 3 quick kora's of the Stoupa. Now I say quick but quick it most definitely wasn't! Me being me meant that I was once again drawn in by every art shop I saw - the current painting tally is holding at a respectable 3!

Day 4 - 24/11/09

Had my first Reiki attunement (Reju) today which felt kind of strange; still not quite sure if I felt anything or not. We also did a guided meditation and after we'd finished we were invited to feedback on anything that had arisen.

Day 5 - 25/11/09

Up at 5am to take the short walk to watch the glorious Nagakot sunrise; the view itself was quite hazy but the minute the little golden Sun popped up from behind the hillock on the far horizon it was awesome.

Day 6 - 26/11/09

Spent last night squatting in the Reiki room and slept like a log (if logs actually sleep that is...). I was woken this morning by the sound of a flute playing & singing.

Another good night's sleep in the Reiki room; surprising because I thought with the spiritual activity and energy of the Shaman I'd be having the odd strange encounter during the night!

Day 8 - 28/11/09

Up at 6am ready to leave the hotel at the end of the universe. It was a long old drive to Pokhara but the scenery enroute was beautiful; so very varied.

Up at 5:45am for Raas to take me to Pokhara airport; he'd arranged for me to fly in a single prop plane to & around the sacred Fish Tail Peak (Machhapachhee) and the Annapurna's.

Day 10 - 30/11/09

Up to carry on with Reiki practice this morning; I went first carrying out a scan and treatment on Rowena. As I performed the scan I experienced a strange sensation between the throat and heart chakra.

Today was spent hitting the dizzy heights of Pokhara; quite a chilled out day. It was nice to take time to sit out people watching by the great lake.

Woke up early this morning for meditation practice which began at 6:30am; we then participated in 1.5hrs of yoga and then received further teachings from the Lama.

Today we travelled back to Kathmandu which took about 9hrs; it seemed that as soon as we hit the hills and hairpins outside Kathmandu the bus was overheating every few minutes; it was a tedious and monotonous drive.
