Day 15, 03/08/09: Mongolia - Altai Mountains

Up at 4:30am where U.B airport queueing can only be described as absolute bedlum. People were pushing and shoving each other, feet & small children were being run over by trolleys; Ian even got kicked by a deceptively looking 'sweet old lady!'

Finally we were through - our baggage had been checked in & once again the excess baggage incurred by Jagged Globe for the group gear was extortionate; oh and once again Ian's negotiation tactics were completely stone-walled! Bless him for his perseverance; at least he ended up with a nice comfortable flight seat next to a delicately built chap (Mongolia's prized wrestler!).
